Learn One New Thing Every Day.

Where does your interest begin?

Are you looking for One-on-One guidance, or a safe and social learning environment? Are you interested in collaboration? Are you looking toward a specific product? Check out the way that I like to structure my guidance, and choose what is right for you or your child.

Structured Small Group Guidance: Step by step learning to introduce a beginner through a skill building lesson with a successful outcome or product. Student choices are built in through out the lesson so that they begin to make creative decisions.

Partly Structured, Partly Student Led Small Group Guidance: Students begin with a structured skill or outcome, and can navigate the process to create their own unique work, or interpretation of the project.

One-on-One Student Led: Students meet briefly with me prior to instruction to discuss previous experiences, skills, and goals. We will set a path of instruction based on the student’s interest and availability.

Social Art Making: Guidance is partly structured and skills built in, but the focus is more process oriented and laid back.

Collaborative Art Making: The creative process is collaborative, less focused on taking an individual project home, and is more focused on each student adding to one or more larger works of art, creating meaning in the process of working together.
